Having beauty sponges in your collection is one of the best items you can have. You can do your whole base makeup with a sponge. Usually, the way to use it would be to wet the sponge and apply your foundation with it. Using this method helps to push the foundation into your skin and allows it to melt seamlessly and picks up any excess product to avoid a cake face.
Other ways to use a beauty sponge are to blend in your concealer or apply your cream or liquid blushes. Applying your blushes with a sponge creates a beautiful natural diffused flushed look.
2. Makeup Brushes
Having makeup brushes in your collection is a given. They are the biggest staple when doing your makeup. There are many different types of brushes for different purposes. The basic ones you should have are a dense flat-top foundation brush for the days when you want extra coverage and a blush brush to apply your powder blushes.

3. Eyelash Curlers
If you love a feminine flirty eye look, eyelash curlers will make your lashes more dramatic. Sometimes when you just apply mascara, your lashes will be curled and lengthened but they aren’t at their full potential.

5. Powder Puffs
Powder puffs have been around for a very long time and for good reason. They set your makeup really well. A lot of people use a brush to set their face with setting powder but using a powder puff instead does the job better. When you load up a bit of setting powder on your powder puff, because of how dense it is, it applies more evenly and gives a flawless airbrushed look compared to using a brush in this instance.
The best ones to get are the ones that have a triangle shape because you can use the pointer side to easily set your under eyes and hard-to-reach areas like the corners of your nose. They are also super easy to clean just using your brush cleansers.
